Nigerian musician, Rema has rubbished rumours claiming that he is affiliated with the secret society Illuminati.
In a recent Instagram post, Rema made it clear that he refuses to attribute his success to "some diabolical sh*t".
He emphasised that his achievements are the result of hard work and dedication, as well as his commitment to crafting music for his fans.
The 'Calm Down' hitmaker dismissed these rumours as baseless and encouraged the public to disregard them without hesitation.
Rema also called on his long-time fans (Ravers), who witnessed his journey from a budding artist to his current status, to educate new fans on his ethics and background.
“Day 1 Ravers, help me educate the new Ravers that I have been on this bat sh*t for a long time. You all would have so much clarity if you easily Google where I’m from, what the key colors of my heritage are, what flies in the skies of Benin every evening, etc.”
