Organiser of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA), Charterhouse, is gearing up for its much-anticipated heroes concert.
The event made possible by the Ghana Music Awards Foundation is aimed at celebrating frontline workers helping to treat and/or limit the spread of the coronavirus.
Dubbed the Covid-19 Heroes Concert, the event will come off virtually on Sunday, May 17, at 9:30 pm.
Artiste performing on the night include Kofi Kinaata, Efya, Diana Hamilton, Celestine Donkor, Joe Mettle, Kwesi Arthur, Adina and others.
“The Ghana Music Awards Foundation will use music to rally a national applause for our Covid-19 HEROES; the frontline health workers.
"The program is also meant to inspire hope and to lend a voice to the ‘Wear A Mask’ and Anti- stigmatization Campaigns,” Charterhouse wrote on their Instagram page.
The Covid-19 Heroes Concert will be shown live on Charterhouse's YouTube page.
