Kessben, Ashgold lock horns as Glo league returns

The Glo Premier League returns on Wednesday after a week long break for international engagements with a top-of-the-table encounter between Kessben FC and Ashantigold. Kessben are chasing their third successive win to consolidate their position on top of the league but have a tough customer in Ashgold to deal with at the Abramkese Stadium. Ashgold are second on the table and are themselves eyeing a return to the top. Accra Great Olympics play Liberty Professionals in a must win game for the the 'Dade' boys. Just back from the division one league, Great Olympics appear yet to discover their feet, languishing at the bottom of the five-week old league. Asante Kotoko will seek to make amends after a painful 1-3 loss to Liberty before the break and have Real Tamale United to deal with at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. Bechem Chelsea will miss their rugged defender Lee Addy as they play host to mid table King Faisal at home. Addy is part of the Black Stars team to play against Angola on Wednesday in an international friendly. Chelsea are desperate for the maximum points and need to play above themselves against Faisal. Tottering Wa All Stars play host to Kpando based Heart of Lions in Wa, whilst Hasaacas trek to Len Clay to face debutants New Edubiase.
