Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong has commemorated his 60th birthday with a brief ceremony on June 16.
In a video making rounds on social media, the vociferous member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is seen seated around a table with his family and friends in a hearty chat as part of the celebration.
The celebration is crowned with a toast proposed by former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Maritime Authority, Kwame Owusu saying “at the age of 60, that is the age of maturity. Right now we will do more investigations, less talk,” after which the gathering burst into laughter.
Others also joined in wishing the Mr Agyapong a happy birthday.
Earlier on Tuesday, he was gifted with a Kotoko jersey by the Kumasi Asante Kotoko Awareness Group at the studios of Net 2 TV during a small session to celebrate the NPP firebrand.
The outspoken business magnate has carved a niche for himself as not only a politician and businessman but a vicious orator who won’t spare the chance to descend on anyone who crosses his path.
