Afrobeat artiste Kelyn Boy says he has never visited a polling stating to cast his vote in a general elections.
According to him, he does not understand governance, politics or the activities of politicians hence he sees no reason why he should vote in any elections.
Speaking on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM Kelvyn Boy questioned what he will gain by supporting a party since he already works hard to take care of himself and his family.
“I don’t know who is right or wrong, so I don’t know what to choose,” he stated.
He said many youths are as clueless about politics like him but they are only blindly following political parties because of family and friends’ influence on them.
The 'Nana Ama' singer said he is not certain if he will ever vote.
However, Kelvyn Boy, said he will not throw away the opportunity to campaign for a party if he is paid.
The 'Mea' hitmaker said his relationship with the party will be solely for business purposes.
He explained that his adverting for a party is not equal to him supporting the party.
