Beverage manufacturing company, Kasapreko, says it has acquired a new plant and production line to help meet its market demand.
This follows the company's newly enhanced capacity production line starting operations this month to boost the efficiency of its production.
Marketing Manager of Kasapreko, Chris Addo-Sarkodie said, "We have received approval from the board and management of Kasapreko to give an additional value to our customers in the new products from the new ultra-modern production line.”
“We are using the opportunity to assure all our customers that the new products have no safety seal but an improved quality such that you only have to take note of the tax stamp which has been affixed on it and the sound that is generated when opening.”
He added, “Let me also add that the quantity of water in a pack has been increased to reward our loyal customers…".
After the tour of the plant, Sales Manager for Awake purified mineral water Samuel Awuku told JoyBusiness that demand for the product has been going up each year since its introduction hence the need for the expansion.
“We began production of Awake on a small scale but over the years, we have recorded a significant increase in demand which compelled us to boost the production and also increase the quantity in each pack.
“The new production line will be producing more than 50 per cent of the existing production figures.”
“It will also mean an enhanced efficiency for the company and good use of resources so that we can generate more and continue with the numerous Corporate Social responsibility activities,” he said.
Meanwhile, Kasapreko is still distributing the water with the safety seal as well as the one without the seal.
