Kingmakers or ‘Tindambas’ to the Jirapa skin have unanimously endorsed the regent of Jirapa, Naa Justice Donglabong Dinaah to succeed the late Naa Ansolee Ganaa II as the Paramount Chief of the Jirapa Traditional Area.
His overwhelming endorsement from the 'Tindambas' makes him the 5th chief of Jirapa in over one hundred years.

“We have already come out with a successor who is Naa Justice Donglabong Dinaah and will be outdoored on December, 30, 2023,'' spokesperson for the Tindambas, Anthony Doodah announced.
The kingmakers comprised of Tepuo Dakpaa from the royal family (Zokyieri), Nuobe Kumasi (Konkuoyiri), Zingbenne Dangyi (Kyobaari), Emilio Fuurivuongmengyiele (wuoyiri), Kyelenkuu Languon (Veveri Naahuyiri), Zutaraa Baburoma (Tampoe yiri), and Boniface Dantel (Dau-uriyiri), announced the name of the regent of Jirapa as the preferred choice to succeed the former Inspector General of the Ghana Police Service.

Naa Justice Dinaah Donglabong sat few meters away from where the announcement was made.
He winked a smile, shook his head with his fist held to each other probably thinking about the responsibility that has just been placed on him.

“I am humbled by the decision of the Tindamba, just as I was humbled when my senior brother and late chief Naa Ansolee Ganaa II appointed me as his personal secretary,'' Naa Justice stated.
Before his outdooring, he already had his eyes fixed on reconstructing the iconic one storey Jirapa Naa's palace which is in dire need of repair.

“It is one thing that I think that we could rebuild in the near future. If you visit the pace, you will see a new auditorium that has been built. It's through my lobbying that it was constructed within 8 months I appreciate all who supported to make that project a success. I have the firm conviction that we can reconstruct the palace in less than 8 months with the same zeal and support,” he assured the people.
The iconic Jirapa Naa's palace is a 19th century Sudanese style architecture that previously served as the residence of the chiefs of Jirapa. It used to attract several tourists to the municipality. It is the firm conviction of the new Jirapa chief that if it is reconstructed it will boost the tourism potential of the area.

It was crystal clear that Naa Justice Donglabong Dinaah was going to be the successor to the late Naa Gaana Ansolee II, having served as the secretary of the latter.
Forty-one year old Justice Donglabong Dinaah is a teacher by profession and is in charge of Cultural and Language Studies at the Jirapa Municipal Office of the Ghana Education Service.
He learnt the ropes and rudiments of the tradition and culture of the people working as the secretary to Naa Gaana Ansolee II.

He did not have any difficulty fitting in to the role because his father, Tankoba served in the same portfolio to the late Bakpenyi Naa Yelpoe II.
Almost 6 months after the burial of the Late Naa Ansolee Ganaa II, processes to perform his final funeral rites before a new chief is chosen kick started at Zokyieri. The final funeral rites were laced with eight other persons from the family who during the course of the year had passed on.
The choreographed spectacle and meticulous performance of the final funeral rites of the nine persons lasted for almost seven hours.
Naa Justice Donglabong Dinaah is expected to be coronated on December 30, 2023 at Jirapa.
