ANCELOTTI: NO SCHWEINSTEIGER MOVE

Carlo Ancelotti has ruled out the possibility of Bastian Schweinsteiger returning to Bayern Munich this summer.Ancelotti said: "In football there is no if. Inter Milan have signed Italy midfielder Antonio Candreva from Lazio on a four-year contract.No fee was announced by the club but Inter have reportedly paid £18.4m for the 29-year-old.

FAZIO TO ROMA

Roma have clinched the signing of Federico Fazio from Spurs.The Argentinian defender couldn’t settle in the Premier League and now moves to Serie A.It’s a one-year loan worth €1.2m, with the option to make it permanent for €3.2m in a year.

KANTE: NO MAKELELE COMPARISON

N'Golo Kante says he will play "my way" at Chelsea and has dismissed comparisons to former Blues and France midfielder Claude Makelele.The 25-year-old joined the Stamford Bridge club earlier this summer in a £32m deal from Premier League champions Leicester."There have been a lot of French midfielders at Chelsea but they did it their way and I do it my way and I hope I can do good things at Chelsea," he told the club's official website."I saw Claude Makelele play in the French national team but before when he played at a club I didn't watch him a lot. With the domestic football season long behind us, here's all you need to know about the summer transfer window...

When does the transfer window open?

The 2016 summer transfer window opened on Thursday, June 9 for Premier League clubs.

When does the transfer window close?

The 2016 summer transfer window will close on Wednesday, August 31 - two and a half weeks after the start of the 2016/17 Premier League season.

Do European leagues have different dates?

While France's Ligue 1 has the same transfer window dates as the Premier League, there are slight differences in Spain, Germany and Italy.

The summer transfer windows in La Liga, the Bundesliga and Serie A do not open until Friday, July 1.

However, like England and France, the transfer windows in the top flights in Spain, Germany and Italy all close on Wednesday, August 31.

So far, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has signed with Manchester United, Ilkay Gundogan has signed for Manchester City, Sadio Mane has joined Liverpool while Arsenal grabbed Swiss international Granit Xhaka....
