ARNAUTOVIC SIGNS NEW STOKE DEAL

Great news for Stoke fans.Marko Arnautovic has agreed a new deal at the Britannia and will be around for the next four years.Everton had been sniffing around, so that’s a real victory for Mark Hughes.

DONE DEAL

Barcelona have completed the signing of Portugal midfielder Andre Gomes from Valencia, who have had a bit of a pop at the champions in an official statement, saying the "rigour and prudence that Valencia CF apply to the procedure of transfers did not permit the announcement of the deal before all aspects were fully completed and contracted."

City are in talks to sign Leroy Sane, Gabriel Jesus and Marlos Moreno.Sane is expected back at Schalke today after an extended break following the Euros. He told the club he wanted to leave last week and City remain in negotiations. The German club would like around £40m.City are also in talks with Palmeiras in Brazil and Colombian side Atletico Nacional. Atletico would like around £8m for Moreno. Gabriel Jesus is highly rated in Brazil for his pace, dribbling and attacking skills and he’s part of the Brazil team for the Olympics – he could cost way in advance of £20m.

NAPOLI YET TO AGREE MILIK DEAL

Because that Gonzalo Higuain cash won’t spend itself, Napoli continue to be linked with players across the continent.Polish striker Arkadiusz Milik is the latest name to come up, but the Ajax man’s agent has told Gazzametcato that no deal is done - yet.“It is true that I have been in Amsterdam with Milik and it is also true that I’ve been in Naples to discuss things with Napoli directors,” he said.“But we haven’t signed anything and nothing is certain whatsoever.”The agent also insisted that Milik will play in Ajax’s Champions League qualifier against PAOK next week.

CHELSEA MAKE MOVE

Chelsea have moved ahead of Everton in the battle for Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly with a fresh £38million bid.The two clubs have been competing for the Senegal defender for several weeks with the 25-year-old keen to move to England.After falling out with his club over a new deal, Koulibaly is ready to listen to offers from both clubs but Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is determined to land him.The Blues have also been linked with Lazio’s Stefan De Vrij and Roma’s Kostas Manolas.John Terry will be at Conte’s disposal for his debut season in charge, which should ease the loss of Kurt Zouma, who is currently sidelined with a knee injury.

 

AUBAMEYANG CLARIFIES EXIT QUOTES

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has denied reports he would only consider leaving Borussia Dortmund for Real Madrid.The forward, who has been linked with a move to Manchester City, posted a message on his Twitter page criticising German media for suggesting he is only seeking a move to Real Madrid. "I can read everywhere something that I never said 'only Real Madrid can take me from Dortmund',” the Gabon striker said.“I don't know who transformed my words but I'm sad that people do like they want."I'm a player for Borussia Dortmund and I was honest in any interviews with you by saying it was my dream since I was young but not more." 

 

ATLETICO ‘AGREE’ GAMEIRO DEAL

Atletico Madrid and Sevilla have reached an agreement in principle over the transfer of striker Kevin Gameiro..
Atleti have been on the hunt for a top-class forward for several weeks and they appear to have found their man in Gameiro, who scored 29 goals for Sevilla last term.
The beaten Champions League finalists have agreed a deal which will see them pay Sevilla €30m (£25.2m) and a further €5m (£4.2m) in add-ons.

When does the transfer window open?

The 2016 summer transfer window opened on Thursday, June 9 for Premier League clubs. 

When does the transfer window close?

The 2016 summer transfer window will close on Wednesday, August 31 - two and a half weeks after the start of the 2016/17 Premier League season.

Do European leagues have different dates?

While France's Ligue 1 has the same transfer window dates as the Premier League, there are slight differences in Spain, Germany and Italy.

The summer transfer windows in La Liga, the Bundesliga and Serie A do not open until Friday, July 1.

However, like England and France, the transfer windows in the top flights in Spain, Germany and Italy all close on Wednesday, August 31.

So far, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has signed with Manchester United, Ilkay Gundogan has signed for Manchester City, Sadio Mane has joined Liverpool while Arsenal grabbed Swiss international Granit Xhaka....
