Manchester City have announced the signing of Leroy Sane from Schalke.Pep Guardiola finally has some joy in the transfer market with the winger signing a five-year deal.City will reportedly pay £41.5million for the Germany international.

ARSENAL HANDED LACAZETTE LIFT
Lyon remain open to the possibility of selling Alexandre Lacazette this summer, according to the French club's manager Bruno Genesio.Arsenal saw a bid in the region of £30m rejected last week, but are expected to return with an improved offer for the 25-year-old."He can leave if Lyon want him to," said the 49-year-old."There are some offers that you cannot refuse. My desire as manager is that the best players stay and Lacazette is very important for the team."I have been assured by my president that we will keep the player. You never know what could happen right up until August 31."
SIGURDSSON PENS NEW DEAL
Swansea City midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson has signed a new four-year contract with the club.The 26-year-old Iceland international had two years remaining on his previous deal at the Liberty Stadium, but he has now committed his future to the Swans until June 2020.Sigurdsson joined Swansea for a second time - following an initial loan spell from Hoffenheim in 2012 - for an undisclosed fee from Tottenham in July 2014.He has since scored 20 goals in 72 appearances for the club, with 11 of those strikes coming in 36 appearances last season as Francesco Guidolin's side finished an indifferent campaign 12th in the Premier League.

NO BARCA BID FOR GIGNAC
Barcelona have not made an approach for Andre-Pierre Gignac.Gignac, according to recent reports in Spain, is the latest name on Barca’s shortlist of attacking targets as they look to secure back-up for their MSN front three of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar.However, the Frenchman’s current club, Tigres, insist they have not been contacted by the La Liga champions.Speaking to TDN, Tigres’ sporting delegate Miguel Angel Garza said: “We found out through the media [about Barca’s interest], but Tigres do not have anything official nor any approach from Barca for Gignac.”
Valencia are in pursuit of former Real Madrid anchorman Lassana Diarra.The Mestalla club are looking for an experienced defensive midfielder and Diarra appears to fit the bill.Diarra, 31, is on the books at Marseille, although he has a clause in his contract that would allow him to leave the French club for free.Valencia have offered him a three-year contract worth €3.5m a season, and he is considering the proposal with his family.He has also received a more lucrative proposal from Galatasaray, worth €5m a season over three years. The Frenchman was initially keen on the idea, but his wife does not want to live in Istanbul due to the political problems in Turkey.
VERATTI EXTENDS PSG STAY
Marco Verratti has committed his future to Ligue 1 champions PSG.The Italian has signed a new five-year deal as revealed by his lawyer Donato Di Campli.Verratti is seen as a key player for Unai Emery after he succeeded Laurent Blanc.
MILIK JOINS NAPOLI
Now it’s official as Polish striker Arkadiusz Milik joins Napoli from Ajax.Milik tweeted a picture of himself with the new Napoli shirt and will wear number 99.With 21 goals in the Eredivisie last season, the Partenopei will hope Milik can lessen the blow of losing Gonzalo Higuain.
MIKEL STAYING AT CHELSEA
Jon Obi Mikel has revealed he will be staying at Chelsea under Antonio Conte.The Nigerian midfielder said: “I am definitely staying at Chelsea and I will try to give my best to the club, like I have always done.“I want to help the team fight for every point, every win and to win trophies. I also want to help the team qualify for the Champions League again as soon as possible.”
SWANSEA REJECT WILLIAMS BID
Swansea have rejected a £10m offer from Everton for Ashley Williams.The Wales skipper appeared to be on his way to Goodison after a bid was made.But Swansea have dug their heels in with chairman Huw Jenkins demanding an improved offer.It remains to be seen if Everton will launch a new bid.
DANTE: I'M STAYING WITH WOLFSBURG
Wolfsburg defender Dante has brought an end to speculation surrounding his future by declaring he is remaining with the Bundesliga club.The 32-year-old has been linked with a move to Nice, who are coached by his former Borussia Monchengladbach boss Lucien Favre, but Dante says there is no truth to the rumours."I am staying in Wolfsburg." "In January, I will be getting a German passport."

David Moyes is targeting a £5million move to to Croatia international defender Domagoj Vida.The Sunderland boss is keen on the Dynamo Kiev 27-year-old because he can play at right-back as well as centre-half and impressed for his country at Euro2016.Moyes has made strengthening the Black Cats defence one of his main priorities after their escape from relegation last season.The Scot has also been hit by Wes Brown, Sebastian Coates and Santiago Vergini this summer, leaving Sunderland short in defence.Vida started three of Croatia’s four games at the European Championships and has 39 caps for his country.
REMY TO BE USED AS LIGHTWEIGHT IN LUKAKU DEAL
Chelsea want to use Loic Remy as a makeweight in a deal for Romelu Lukaku.The Belgian striker has been linked with a return to Stamford Bridge, having left the club for Goodison for £28m in 2014.Lukaku has his sights set on a move back to London but Everton are demanding £75m for his services.
MAX KRUSE BACK AT BREMEN
Max Kruse has sealed his return to Werder Bremen.The striker started his career with the Bundesliga side but only made a handful of appearances with the senior squad.He has had spells at Monchengladbach and Wolfsburg, where he has spent the last two seasons.Kruse has today past a medical with Bremen.
SISSOKO SET TO LEAVE
Real Madrid are ready to step up their interest in Moussa Sissoko.The midfielder is set to leave Newcastle following the club’s relegation.He impressed at Euro 2016 and has been linked with a host of clubs in England and abroad.But Real are leading the chase ahead of a proposed £35m move to the Bernabeu.

When does the transfer window open?
The 2016 summer transfer window opened on Thursday, June 9 for Premier League clubs.
When does the transfer window close?
The 2016 summer transfer window will close on Wednesday, August 31 - two and a half weeks after the start of the 2016/17 Premier League season.
Do European leagues have different dates?
While France's Ligue 1 has the same transfer window dates as the Premier League, there are slight differences in Spain, Germany and Italy.
The summer transfer windows in La Liga, the Bundesliga and Serie A do not open until Friday, July 1.
However, like England and France, the transfer windows in the top flights in Spain, Germany and Italy all close on Wednesday, August 31.
So far, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has signed with Manchester United, Ilkay Gundogan has signed for Manchester City, Sadio Mane has joined Liverpool while Arsenal grabbed Swiss international Granit Xhaka....
