Award-winning rapper Sarkodie began his 2023 Jamz World Tour in North America.
The tour, which commenced on July 15, 2023, and running all the way to September ending, has covered 11 major cities in four states. The cities include Washington DC, Chicago, Dallas, Charlotte, Nashville and Minnesota.
Throughout the tour, media personality and co-host of Joy Prime’s 'Prime Morning' show, Kpekpo Maxwell Justice, better known as KMJ the Royal Host, has been the official host of most of the concerts.
Known for his entertaining and humorous demeanour, KMJ is able to hold an audience no matter how long he spends on stage. He has hosted several concerts, including the on-going Sarkodie’s Jamz concert.
KMJ, who shared his experience throughout the concert, said, "It feels great to be doing this for one of the greatest to ever do it, Sarkodie, and I'm excited about it. It's always been a dream to share my energy on the stage as an MC outside Ghana, creating beautiful and unforgettable memories, and I'm glad this opportunity is giving me exactly that. I look forward to more of such great moments to connect with as many people as possible around the world. It's been an incredible experience so far."
He has therefore expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the organisers of the event for entrusting their audience to him.
"First of all, my utmost gratitude to my brother and USA manager, the CEO of SHUTDOWN LLC, Julian Asiedu (Jagonzy), and the entire team on the franchise for believing in me and putting me on as the choice for this tour. I'm forever grateful to him.
Also to the Sarkcess team for believing that I can get the crowd super hyped before Sarkodie comes on stage for the concerts, and it's been great so far."
KMJ’s overwhelming presentation dexterity has also granted him the privilege to co-host the launch of the Ghana Music Awards UK in Ghana and also hosted the 2023 Ghana Music Awards in the USA for the second time in a row, which took place on Saturday, August 26 at Lincoln Theatre.
Meanwhile, Sarkodie's Jamz Album concert event, is set to hit Detroit on 9th September, 22nd September in Vegas and 30th September in Utah and promises to be another great night.
