Ibrahim Ben Bako of Joy Prime will be strutting his elegance at the 2023 Africa Movie Academy Awards as he hosts the red carpet session of the ceremony.
This year’s event will be held at the Balmoral Convention Centre of the Sheraton Hotel in Lagos, Nigeria on 29th October 2023.
IB, the host of The Red Carpet Show on Joy News has compered red carpet sessions for events such as EMY Awards, Rhythms on the Runway, Ghana Music Awards UK, Ghana Television Awards, and the Radio and Television Personality Awards.
He was a host of the maiden edition of Joy Prime's music talent show, Cues and Lyrics.

Ibrahim Ben Bako, who has been in the media space for close to 20 years, promises to bring life and finesse to the red carpet of this year's AMAA.

The Africa Movie Academy Awards, an annual award scheme to reward excellence among film professionals working in Africa, or non-African professionals who have contributed to the African film industry.
The awards scheme is also aimed at honouring and promoting excellence in the African movie industry as well as uniting the African continent through arts and culture.
The award presentation is attended by numerous media representatives, celebrities, politicians, journalists, actresses and actors from all across the world.
