It is the pride of every human being after birth to grow up in a family and experience parental love and care.
However, not everyone has the privilege of getting that opportunity due to some circumstances, which may be unpleasant at times.
Some people do not get to stay with and be trained by their direct parents because they might have been abducted or adopted as kids. Such people encounter terrible experiences of abuse from the families they find themselves in as they grow into adulthood.
In spite of that, some are able to thrive and pull through, whereas others give up at certain points due to trauma that may affect people around them.
But how should victims of such cases deal with the situations that revolve around them, especially the immediate people they are directly in contact with?
To help inform, educate, and relieve such people, your ultimate experience television and home of telenovellas, Joy Prime has yet again introduced a new drama series titled Rhodora X.
The series is a Philippine psycho-drama thriller directed by Albert Langitan that focuses on guiding people’s psychological abilities within their vicinities.
The series centres on Rhodora, a woman suffering from Dissociative Identity Disorder, and how the situation affects all the people around her.
Below is a summary of the story:
"The series revolves around the story of Rhodora, a young girl who experienced extreme physical and emotional abuse when she was abducted and taken away from her family. This experience eventually leads her to develop another "persona" of her. When she is saved and gets reunited with her family, her Dissociative Identity Disorder (more commonly known as split personality) starts to manifest."
"Rhodora’s alter ego, Roxanne, starts to emerge. Roxanne is a confident and smart woman, but also scheming and manipulative. She hates her sister Angela to the point that she will do everything to get what Angela has – the affection of their mother and Angela’s love, Joaquin."
Viewers are entreated to tune in to the Joy Prime channel on Monday, June 26 and every other weekday at 8 p.m. and enjoy the first episode as the drama begins. It will be repeated on weekdays at 2 p.m., with an omnibus on Saturday at 10 a.m.
All the actions would be replicated on all our social media platforms, @Joy Prime TV on YouTube and Joy Prime on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
Rhodora X is brought to you by Joy Prime, your ultimate experience.
