Joy FM in collaboration with the National Blood Transfusion Service and the 37 Military Hospital organizes a blood transfusion exercise on May Day Friday 1 May 2009.
The exercise is expected to yield over 500 units of blood to revamp the blood bank at the 37 Military Hospital.
The Joy FM blood donation campaign which is in its thirteenth year is organized bi-annually as part of the station’s social responsibility towards the community.
Exercises in years past have added several thousands units of blood to blood banks in the country’s major hospitals.
