Joy Entertainment’s Noella Kharyne Yalley will host the highly anticipated ‘Popular but Broke’ comedy special.
The revolutionary all-star standup comedy event is touted to move patrons off their seats with its hilarious content and performances this festive season.
It is also expected to live up to its description, as it historically marks the return of ace comedians Fritz Baffour and Mikki Osei Berko, both of whom proceeded on a standup comedy recess spanning almost two decades.
Noella Kharyne Yalley is one of the finest media personalities and journalists with the Multimedia Group Limited.
She currently cast the news bulletin on Hitz 103.9 FM and hosts ‘Showbiz This Week’ on ‘Showbiz A-Z’ on Joy 99.7FM and Joy Prime television.
She’s also a professional voice-over artist, commercial model, official backstage announcer for the Ghana DJ Awards, and a voting member of the 3 Music Awards Academy.
Noella, who’s very enthusiastic about the event, has promised to bring her A-game to bear on the event night.
Joy Entertainment will also, with enthusiasm and professionalism, oversee all related publicity initiatives targeted at making ‘Popular but Broke’ Comedy Special a huge success.
This will be effectively executed via radio, TV, and online platforms. Joy Entertainment exclusively owns coverage rights for the event.
Billed to hit the stage are Musician Kwabena, who will treat patrons to stellar music performance, Fritz Baffour, Mikki Osei Berko, DKB, and headline act OB Amponsah.
After selling out the National Theatre in just eight days, excitement is already at a fever high pitch for Ghana’s first all-star comedy night.
The 'Popular But Broke' comedy special is set for December 11, at the National Theatre.
