Ghana's Joseph King Kong Agbeko has promised to rain hell fire on Vic Darchinyan in their IBF Bantamweight encounter on July 11.
In an interview with eastsideboxing.com, the defending champion minced no words at all about his desire to rip the challenger apart.
"I will give him the worst beating of his entire career. Worse than the beating [Nonito] Donaire gave him," he said.
Asked if he had prior knowledge about his contender, Agbeko said "I watched a few, but that was all. Then I stopped watching him, because I only needed to see one fight of his to know how to beat him."
The 29 year old Ghanaian, (26,1,0) added "I believe I have better skills than him and I believe I am a better puncher than him. Vic has never fought anyone in my class before. He has always fought guys he knew he could beat - guys he knew he could do what he wanted to against them. But who will tell him what to do against me? Who will show him how to beat me? He said [at the press conference] that this fight will be a mismatch. It will be, with me winning over him easily.
Right here in Ghana, his media manager, Ebenezer Noye told Myjoyonline.com the King Kong is more than ready for Saturday's bout.
Vic Darchinyan (31,1,0) is noted to be a hard puncher but the dimunitive Agbeko is unfazed.
King Kong Agbeko is hopeful of retaining the title ahead of the bout.
