Former President John Dramani Mahama has taken to social media to wish Ghana a Happy Independence Day at 63.
In a tweet, quoting the third line of the National Pledge, he encouraged Ghanaians to rededicate themselves "...to hold in high esteem, our heritage won for us through the blood and toil of our fathers," as all Ghanaians celebrate the nation's independence.
