Editor for Kotoko Express Newspaper, Jerome Otchere, says Ghana legend Mohammed Polo should stop dreaming about coaching Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
Polo, who openly admitted to coaching Kotoko some days back, claimed he can fix the current problems facing the Porcupine Warriors.
But in a sharp rebuttal, Otchere has told Polo to dismiss any hopes of coaching Kotoko.
“There is one thing I want to tell Polo,” Jerome told Asempa Sports.
“Polo should stop dreaming about coaching the Kotoko because he will not be given the chance to coach our club.”
“He should rather find a pillow and sleep because Kotoko will not waste this opportunity on Polo because he can’t simply coach the team.”
Jerome further questioned the credentials of the former Hearts coach stating his tenure at the helm of the Phobians clearly makes him a misfit for the Kotoko job.
“What did Polo do with Hearts of Oak when he was given the opportunity to be the head coach of the club?” Jerome demanded
“If he wasn’t able to do anything with Hearts of Oak how much better can he do at Kotoko.”
“We know that the team is going through some hard times but I know and believe that coach David Duncan will surely deliver.”
Kotoko hope to turn the corner when they play Hasaacas in week five of the Ghana Premier League.
