Editor of Kotoko Express believes management's decision to ask David Duncan to step aside has been hugely vindicated following their 3-1 win over Liberty Professionals at the Kumasi Sports Stadium.
Micheal Osei, who is now the interim head coach of the club, secured only the club’s second win of the campaign and Otchere believes it was a fantastic decision.
“The management of the club are now vindicated by the decision they took by telling Duncan to step aside,” he told Asempa Sports
“All the same, we have to be very careful and see what Michael Osei will bring on board because Duncan’s problem was inconsistency in team selection.”
“There are two things that led to the win against Liberty Professionals and one of them is the freshness that came around the team when Otumfuo visited the team at Adako Jachie”.
“Some people were calling on the management to be dissolved. So with all these problems around the club, when you take out CoachDuncan, you take out poison around the club and again Otumfuo’s visit inspired the team as a whole.”
Kotoko’s next league game is away to Dreams FC.
