After weeks of threatening to tell his side of the story following the release of Yvonne Nelson’s book, Nigerian musician Iyanya may have had a change of heart.
In an interview on Starr FM, the singer said that he will not share any details about Yvonne Nelson, adding that she “is a sweet girl.”
“I cannot come and share her problems with you…I have not read the book, but I’m sure it is doing well. Everybody is talking about it,” Iyanya noted.
When asked if he will provide personal details should he release his own book, Iyanya answered in the negative, stating that he will also take people’s names out.
“I’ll just tell you about my life and challenges as a human being and how I overcame them. I don’t have to tell you about who I had this with and that. I guess we’re all different people,” he said.
His comment comes a few weeks after he hinted that he will release a song to respond to the cheating allegations levelled against him by actress Yvonne Nelson in her new book.
“Y’all waiting for my side of the story? If I talk now, I’ll be accused of kissing and telling, sluts shaming, etc. But something gat [sic] to give, so wait for it,” he wrote.

“When I was convinced about the authenticity of the information I received, I was heartbroken,” excerpts of the read.
“I took to Twitter to rant and vent. Tonto Dikeh responded on Twitter, saying people change and so did feelings, so I should move on. I later heard more stories about what Iyanya did with some of his female crew members,” Yvonne wrote.
