Ahead of the 2024 general elections slated for December 7, 2024, dancehall musician Stonebwoy has revealed that he has been contacted by the National Democratic Congress (NDC), to perform at their campaign rally.
In an interview on Hitz FM, he opened up about the factors that will influence his decision to accept such a gig.
According to him, he will decide on the possibility of the performance after reaching an agreement on the fee.
"There are a few that I’m considering. I think there’s one call from the NDC now. To be clear, I haven’t spoken to any NDC person though there has been a call from them. We’re checking on the money level and if it goes well, I’ll perform to my fans so I can use some of the money for the BHIM festival,” he said.
He concluded the interview by advocating for peace during and after the general elections.
"December is coming, so peaceful elections is all we seek. When you see me on any platform, I’m performing for peace, whether NPP, NDC, CPP, it’s for peace because we are all one Ghana, Ghana first, Ghana must win in the end,” he further noted.
