The Meteorological Services Department on Monday said the weather would be hot and generally cloudy with sunny periods and afternoon.
It said there would be scattered rain showers or thunderstorm activities over the high grounds of the south but becoming isolated over the North.
The Department said the Night time would be warm along the coast with further cooling inland and it will also be misty or foggy over the forests and hilly areas in the morning.
Maximum and minimum temperatures between the hours of 0600 on Monday and 0600 on Tuesday were given as: coastal areas, between 32 and 25 degrees Celsius; middle sector, between 33 and 23 degrees Celsius; and northern sector, between 37 and 24 degrees Celsius.
