Wendy Shay says she did not want to entertain Nana Romeo’s obsession with her supposed relationship with her manager - a reason she walked out during his interview on Tuesday.
According to the singer, she had already answered the question and did not see the need for his persistence in getting “his truth” from her as if they were in a courtroom.
“It was an interview and not a courtroom so I thought it wasn’t necessary to go further and entertain that thing,” she said on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM.
Wendy Shay, on June 9, walked out of an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra FM. The host had asked the singer if she was in a relationship with her record label boss Bullet.
Although she had answered no, he kept pushing the singer – an action which angered her, causing her to walk out after apologizing to fans and listeners.
Wendy shay told Andy Dosty that she does not believe Nana Romeo has any evidence to prove the purported relationship with her boss.
The Emergency singer stated that if the show host had proof he would have gone ahead to release it.
“This is a big industry and we are one people and right now; what is important is the Ghana music industry and we have to love ourselves and I think we need each other,” she stated.
However, Nana Romeo in an interview with Zionfelix said he is expecting Wendy shay and her team apologise to him.
He claimed her action was disrespectful. He added that all the singer had to do was dare him and he will release his evidence.
