JoyNews’s Maxwell Agbagba has been recounting events leading to the murder of two police officers at Gomoa-Buduburam in the Central Region.
The report on the AM Show on JoyNews TV on Friday, included the chilling eyewitness’ narrative of a 13-year-old girl who saw it all.
Five police officers have been slain in the last 30 days and the police are on a manhunt for the killers.
Three suspects have been arrested in the latest incident at Buduburam near Kasoa, where two officers were killed.
The police have placed a GH₵10,000 bounty on the head of the killers.
The Interior Minister, Ambrose Dery, has ordered immediate arming of all traffic police officers as part of changes in policing, to ensure the officers are better protected.
JoyNews joins in the condemnation of the murders of the police and declares its support for them as they run after the perpetrators.
