World Bank Country Director, Ishac Diwan is expected to leave office at the end of this month.
Mr. Diwan who holds a PhD in economics assumed office as Country Director in November 2007.
He was also responsible for Burkina Faso, Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone.
Prior to his appointment Mr. Diwan was the Country Director for Ethiopia and Sudan.
He joined the World Bank group in 1987 as an economist with the bank’s debt and international investment division.
