The Municipal Chief Executive for Hohoe, Noble Daniel Awume, says he will invest in the education and health of residents in the municipality.
According to the MCE, it's one of his priorities. Mr Noble Awume made the comment during a sod cutting ceremony for some projects in the Hohoe Municipality.
"Education and health are dear to our government and my priority in the Municipality. I will also make sure that I provide the needed adequate health care as well as teaching and learning materials for the area," he said.
Mr Awume noted that issues with education and health, especially with regards to infrastructure is very important to the development of every municipality, therefore, there is an urgent need for everyone to work together to make sure that the aim of government to provide quality health care and education is realized.
Mr Awume noted that issues of education and health are very dear to government and would make sure that the Municipality have adequate health and education facilities to help move the Municipality forward.
The MCE cut sod for a 3 unit classroom block for SDA Primary school in Ahado and Gbi Wegbe EP School respectively. He also cut sod for the expansion of the Gbledi Health Centre.
On her part, Municipal Director of Education, Mrs Janet Valerie Datsa, expressed gratitude and prayed that more of such projects would be brought to the municipality to enhance teaching and learning.
