The Information Ministry, in partnership with stakeholders, will host a one-day Stakeholders’ Forum to Review the Impact of the Media Support Programmes.
This is in fulfilment of its mandate to develop programs for advancing the Public Communications Sector, the Ministry of Information launched media support programs in 2019 to respond to key issues confronting the Media Industry.
Having conducted these programs over the last four years, the Ministry seeks to re-examine their impact and review its implementation mechanisms for the medium term.
The forum is scheduled for Tuesday, November 7, at the Conference room of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) at 2 p.m.
It is under the theme; ’Assessing the Impact of the Media Support Programmes.”
Participating institutions include the National Media Commission (NMC), Ghana Journalist Association (GJA), Ghana Independent Broadcasters Association (GIBA), and PRINPAG.
The forum will be telecast live on GTV and the social media handles of the Ministry.
The Ministry said interested parties may contribute virtually via its Facebook page.
