Information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has commended members of the Ghana Photojournalists Network for using photography as a tool to fight against the spread of Covid-19 in the country.
He commended the Network when he opened a photo exhibition on Covid-19 pandemic at the forecourt of the Ministry in Accra on Wednesday.
The Ofoase Ayeribi MP who could not hide his excitement with the exhibition said the Information Ministry will do its best to support photojournalists whose works impact positively on the life of people.
The exhibition which chronicled the happenings since Ghana reported its first Covid-19 positive case was organised by the members of the Ghana Photojournalists Network as part of the 2020 World Photography Day celebration.
The ceremony was marked under the theme 'Ghana’s fight against Covid-19 the Role of Photojournalists'.
The exhibition showcased some striking images with each of them telling a unique story with the focus on Covid-19 safety protocols.
