Imperial General Assurance, a leading insurance company in Ghana, has announced the appointment of Harry E. B. Ofori-Attah as its new Managing Director. Prior to his new role, Mr. Ofori-Attah served in two capacities as the Deputy Managing Director and Acting Managing Director of the company. His appointment took effect from August 1, 2024.
With 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, Mr. Ofori-Attah has showcased remarkable leadership and expertise in critical areas across both non-life and life insurance markets. His extensive background includes roles in Sales, Corporate and Broker Relationship Management, Operations, and Branch Operations management. He is a Chartered Insurer from the Insurance Institute of Canada and also a fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana. He in the process of obtaining his qualifying certificate as a Lawyer from the Ghana School of Law.

The company has also announced the appointment of Stephen Nketia Kyere, a management and finance consultant and William Amokona-Yeboah, a development consultant to its Board of Directors.
