Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey will be joining the Black Stars camp in Turkey later than expected due to his imminent move to Arsenal, Joy Sports understands.
The vice-captain of the senior side was scheduled to join the rest of the team in Antalya, Turkey latest by Tuesday for the friendly games against Mali and Qatar.
However, with Arsenal reported to have made an attempt to pay his release clause of 45 million euros, the 27-year-old has asked for more time to complete the deal.
Partey, who was expected to fly to Turkey this evening will have to go through his Arsenal medicals and sign paperwork in Spain if a deal will be struck before deadline.
The former Real Mallorca midfielder will join his Black Stars team mates later in the week as they prepare for a double header against Mali and Qatar.
