The International Human Rights Commission (IHRC) Chief, Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Shahid Amin Khan, presented the Global Leaders Award to Dr Ambassador Abu Zein, Senior Deputy Chairman of the IHRC & IHRC-RFT.
The award ceremony took place in Accra, Ghana, and was attended by the Vice Chairperson for Women Affairs Kaoutar Agzaou and Director General Global Dr Innocent Ahure Tivlumun.
The award recognized Ambassador Zein's exceptional programs and policies promoting human rights in the country and beyond.
The ceremony attracted high-profile diplomats and dignitaries from across the globe.
Recently, Ambassador Zein and Dr Muhammad Amin Khan visited the United Nations (UN) Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.
Ambassador Zein was accredited as the Special Representative of the IHRC at the United Nations Human Rights Council for its 56th Session.
