Ten policemen and five businessmen were on Friday put before a District Magistrate's Court in Sekondi for allegedly engaging in prohibited business relating to narcotic drugs.
Their plea was not taken and the court remanded them to re-appear on June 14.
The case for the prosecution was that the Inspector General of Police (IGP) had a tip-off that some police officers were escorting some dealers in cocaine to La Cote d'Ivoire and detailed the Western Regional Police Commander to track them down.
He said the Regional Police Commander launched an operation at dawn on Friday and arrested the accused persons at Half Assini.
