Al Ahly coach Pitso Mosimane disclosed it's his wish to watch a live game between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko at the stadium.
Both sides faced off on Sunday in what could be described as a culmination of what has been an incredible first round of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season.
In the end, the goalless draw meant that Asante Kotoko retain their 12-point lead over rivals Hearts of Oak and also maintain a 7-point lead at the summit of the table.
Mosimane, who is fresh off winning bronze with Al Ahly at the Club World Cup, revealed to Joy Sports hours before kick-off time of the Super Clash that it is one of the games he wishes to attend in person.
"I would love to come to Ghana and watch the Super Clash. Next time, Insha Allah I'll get an opportunity to watch Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko because I know what such a game means."
The 57-year-old coach was quick to point out Muntari, who was recently signed by the Phobians on a one-year deal.
"I saw that the legend is back playing for Hearts of Oak. Ahhhh Muntari, what a midfielder he is. It's always a pleasure to watch Muntari play," Mosimane said whilst in awe.
However, the South African football coach was surprised these two teams haven't made their mark in the CAF Champions League in recent times.
"Where are the Porcupine Warriors? They used to terrorize everybody. Where is Phobia? Where are those teams? When these two teams play in Ghana, the streets are closed. Where are those teams in the Champions League? Where are the top talents"
Mosimane went on to suggest ways in which Ghana's biggest clubs can climb to the pinnacle of African club football again.
"You need to have an organised league, TV on the league, improve the stadia. It's not easy because of the economy but proper, smaller but decent stadia can help. Also, paying the players well and ensuring the players are willing to play. Create the vibe among fans and Ghanaian teams will come back to the Champions League. The private sector will also have to invest so you can develop your own players and bring in good players from other countries."
