Ghanaian featherweight contender John Laryea expressed profound gratitude for the opportunity to ink a promotional agreement with Fight Game Advisors, affirming his unwavering commitment to elevate his efforts in pursuit of a world championship.
His sentiments came in the wake of the signing with the promotional firm, which aligns Laryea—ranked 15th in the featherweight division by the World Boxing Organization—with Peter Kahn, the recipient of the prestigious 2022 Boxing Writers Association of America Manager of the Year Award.
"This news hit me so good and I can’t stop thinking about the day my coach and manager told me about the good news. It’s time for me to work harder so that I can become a world champion for Ghana," Laryea said following the announcement.
"I am looking forward to working with my team and Peter Kahn as I prepare to fight on the biggest stages in boxing."
"On his part, Peter Kahn said, “Ghana has such a rich boxing history not only in Africa but in the entire world. I am very excited to be working with John Laryea and his team to guide John to the next level towards becoming a world champion."
Laryea has 12 wins and a draw in his professional career with 10 wins coming by way of knockout and is coached by renowned trainer Carl Lokko.
