Former Ghanaian international, Agyeman Badu, and head coach of the Dwɛtɛɛ FC has warned his competitors to train hard ahead of this year’s Hitz FM Rep Ur Jersey.
After several months of intensive training and bragging last year, Dr. Pounds and the Dwɛtɛɛ FC won the enviable 5-aside tournament for the second time in a row, beating Merqury Quaye’s Turn-Up FC.
The tournament took place at the Aviation Social Centre on Saturday at the Hitz FM Rep Ur Jersey event.
The reigning champions, coached by ex-Black Stars player Emmanuel Agyemang Badu, steered the group of five to victory in a competitive final match against Merqury Quaye’s Turn-Up FC.
Speaking at this year’s launch with Dr. Pounds, Agyemang Badu said that he is ready for this edition and can’t wait to retain his title with Dwɛtɛɛ FC.
“I have been thinking about Hitz FM Rep Ur Jersey. I’ve been home for a long time and I want to win another cup. I hope my colleagues who lose to me all the time are ready this time.
“I don’t want easy games anymore. Tell them they have over a month to train. We have started camping in Aburi and we will go to my hometown to play some pre-season games. I will train my players and win the trophy again. I am like Mourinho I never get tired of coaching.”
This year’s edition seeks to involve local representatives of fun clubs of European teams in the 5-aside Gala match.
The usual football quiz, predict and win and other activities will also feature to add fun and excitement to the day.
There will be other activities on air to drive the excitement of the show Hitz FM Rep Ur Jersey promises to be fun and a platform to meet and interact with people from all walks of life.
