Just as bees are attracted to roses and lilies, people from all walks of life are attracted to the Kroboland because of its traditional beads, ornaments and jewellery.
The beauty of their females has been well-touted over the years.
But Kroboland has a worrying story. There is concern about the increasing rate of HIV infections and HIV-related deaths in this community.
For Hotline this week, Seth Kwame Boateng has been tracing the history to this phenomenon and how queens in the community are dealing with the problem.
