The Administrator of the Tamale Teaching Hospital has denied reports that medical officers of the hospital have refused to treat a man who was brought to the hospital with gun shot wounds.
Meanwhile, according to reports reaching Joy News the man, Mr. Kabori Isa Ata was rushed to the hospital with gun shot wounds, but because he could not produce a police medical form, doctors on duty allegedly refused to treat him.
While some medical officers have told Joy News on Saturday that Mr. Ata has been lying in the hospital since Thursday without treatment because he failed to produce a police medical form, the Administrator, Mr. George Atambugri has said the patient was attended to.
