Egypt Football Legend Hosam Hassan has been slapped with a US$ 2,800 fine for assaulting Eric Bekoe during a Premier League match last Monday.
The Telecom Egypt coach could also face further sanctions for verbally and physical abusing Bekoe who scored for Petrojet in their 2-2 draw at home.
Hassan claimed he was taunted by Bekoe's celebrations but that lacked substance according to the Egyptian Football authorities.
The former Asante Kotoko striker joined Petrojet for the second round of the League in January this year.
