These home remedies are inexpensive, cheap and easy solutions for your dandruff troubles.
In order to get rid of a dry scalp, you should apply oil on a daily basis.
Daily application of oil on the hair and scalp will get rid of the dry and dead skin, thus curing dandruff.
You can use coconut oil for this purpose. Tea tree oil which is a natural antiseptic is also found to be very effective in curing dandruff.
You should leave the oil on for half an hour and shampoo it off later on.
Application of vinegar on your scalp will help in restoring the normal pH levels of the scalp.
This will in turn prevent the formation of dry scalp and will thus reduce your dandruff troubles.
You can mix equal quantities of vinegar and water and massage it on your scalp.
After an hour, rinse your hair and shampoo it as usual. Application of lemon juice will also help to normalize the pH levels of our scalp.
Massaging Aloe vera gel on the scalp will also moisturize the scalp and will balance the scalp’s pH levels.
This prevents dandruff and also promotes healthy hair growth.
There are many homemade herbal hair rinses which help to tackle dandruff.
To prepare one such hair rinse, you can boil herbs like thyme or chaparral for about 15 minutes and then strain the liquid.
After the infusion has cooled down, use it to rinse your damp and towel dried hair. You can also gently massage the hair rinse on your scalp.
Daily application of this hair rinse will provide you with amazing results in a short period of time.
You can also apply coconut milk on your hair in order to treat dandruff.
The coconut milk should be applied on to the hair and scalp 30 minutes prior to washing it off.
This treatment not only prevents dandruff but also acts as an excellent hair conditioner.
