A total of 14 babies, including a set of twins, were delivered at the Ho Municipal Hospital during the Christmas and New Year holidays.
Twelve of the single babies comprised of nine girls and three boys.
Madam Vincentia Kottoh, Senior Midwife, told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that the Hospital recorded five deliveries three boys and one girl and the twins on December 31, 2007.
She said seven deliveries made up of five females and two males were recorded on New Year's Day. The first of the seven babies delivered that day was a girl.
One of the males delivered the same day was through a Caesarean operation.
