The Hitz Rep Ur Jersey 23 was climaxed on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at the Aviation Social Center, as the 12th edition of the event thrilled patrons on the ground and through the airwaves.
Hundreds of football fans were treated to an exciting 2022/23 Champions League final viewing experience at the event organized, powered by Hitz 103.9 FM.
The rains, which were on and off all day in Accra, seemed ready to disrupt the activities, but it didn’t stop patrons from trooping to the venue.
They came in their favourite jerseys, from as early as 10am when gates opened, to have a feel of the engaging sessions leading to the Manchester City vs Inter Milan final.
There was a competitive five-a-side soccer tournament, video game competitions, Jamaa Washing Competition, Bottle Challenge, and other activities that set the tone for the main event.

The harbinger of the rains, somehow, did not turn off folks from all walks of life who simply wanted a fun day out. The weather, instead, became a blessing.
Patrons were asked to come out of their canopies with their umbrellas and engage in even more exciting activities, including dance challenges, quizzes and music contests.
Winners from each activity walked home with surprise packages from the day's sponsors.

Main event
The day was built around the 7pm main event, which came with Manchester City vs Inter Milan slugging it out at the Champions League final. Fans cheered and jeered at every moment of the game.
In the end, City's Rodrigo scored the only goal to see Pep Guardiola’s side win their first Champions League title.
After the football, fans unwilling to leave had an excuse to say, as music blared from the speakers courtesy of Hitz FM's top DJs.
All was well that ended well, and the heavily anticipated evening finished with smiles, contentment, and promise of more next year.
