Hitz FM's Catherine Opoku Asamoah popularly known as King Kady has won the On-Air Personality of the Year Award at the just ended Scream Awards.
The Scream Award ceremony, held annually in Nigeria, is to recognise the youth with a focus on entertainers and entrepreneurs who have been outstanding in their field of work.
The event, held virtually this year due to coronavirus, saw King Kady beat nine other nominees including her colleague Naa Adjele Doku to win the award.
Taking to her Instagram handle to share the news king Kady wrote, “Yaaaaayyyyy WE WON... thank you sooo much guys. Thank you @screamawards.”
In an interview with JoyNews she added that she was grateful to all her followers and fans who took time to vote for her.
