Herbert Addo has named an 18-man squad for this month's West Africa Football Union Nations Cup which will be hosted by Nigeria.
Trio-Bright Addae, Karim Alhassan and Mahatma Otoo have been released to join the Black Satellites for the Cape Town Invitational Tournament.
The local Black Stars are seeking to improve after a bog-standard performance earned them qualification to next year's CHAN finals.
Ghana also drew Togo and Liberia in Group B of the tournament which begins on Friday 9 April.
Hosts Nigeria will face Benin in the opening match in Group A alongside Guinea and Senegal.
Players participating in the local leagues are eligible to participate and matches will be held in Abeokuta and Ijebu-Ode in Nigeria’s Ogun State.
The competition ends on Sunday, April 18.
