The Ghana Football Association and premier league sponsor, Globacom
Accra Hearts of Oak will be crowned champions of the Glo Premier League for the 2008/09 season after a coronation match with rivals Olympics on Sunday.
Hearts pipped defending champions Kumasi Asante Kotoko to the trophy on final day beating relegated St Mirren by 2-0.
On Thursday the GFA and league sponsor Globacom unveiled the brand new trophy for the 2008/2009 Glo Premier League campaign at a short ceremony in Accra.
The trophy is crowned by a football made of pure optical crystal with sand blasted details.
The stem is made of golden aluminum cut-out modified one.
