Managing director of Hearts of Oak Vincent Sowah Odotei has revealed the players will be given huge pay lift after they beat Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Accra sports stadium on Sunday.
Defender Vincent Atingah converted a late penalty to secure full spoils for the Phobians at the expense of their fierce rivals Kotoko and also end Kotoko’s seven year unbeaten record in Accra.
‘’I’m extremely happy that for once we have broken the seven year jinx here. What am really happy about is that on the balance of play Hearts were the better team and should have scored more goals.’’ Odotei said
‘’But I hope this will serve as an impetus for us to begin to climb up the league log’’
‘’I’m very grateful to the fans, players and everyone for the win. We are going to give the players double bonus for this victory’’
