Hearts of Oak exciting midfielder Obed Ansah will join South Africa Premier Soccer League side Bloemfontein Celtic on trial.
Ansah, who bagged 12 goals last two seasons, has refused a renewal of contract extension at the Ghanaian side with a move to Europe firmly on sight.
Celtic are keen to bolster their squad for the next soccer campaign with qualification to the Champions League high on the table.
“We sent the player’s CV to Celtic and their coach invited Ansah so as to have a closer look at him. He has applied for his visa and should be in South Africa before June 27,” the player’s agent Rudy Abrahams said.
The departure of the 24-year-old will be disappointing for Serbian trainer Nebojsa Vucicevic who has already lost combative enforcer Uriah Asante.
