The nomination of Kennedy Kankam as MCE for Asokore Mampong in the Ashanti region is receiving strong contention from a section of residents.
Some who spoke to JoyNews say they are surprised at the President's nomination.
They say the former MP for Nhyiaeso is not known in the area and might not understand the dynamics of the people and their needs.
