Alhaji Issah Hayatou, President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) will lead the next inspection team to Ghana slated for next month as the nation gets ready to host next year's Africa Cup of Nations.
The ninth inspection, which will precede the main draw, is scheduled for October 16-18.
Magnus Rex Danquah, Chief Operating Officer of the Local Organising Committee of CAN 2008 told the GNA Sports in Accra on Friday.
Mr Hayatou is expected to get a first hand feel of the preparations for the January 20 - February 10 soccer championship.
This will be the first time the CAF Boss will be leading the Inspection Team since Ghana won the bid some three years ago.
Mr Slim Aloulou, CAF Executive Committee Member led previous inspections to the four venue cities of Accra, Kumasi Sekondi and Tamale where various stadiums and training pitches as well as hotels are being put up in readiness for the mundial.
