For over 12 years, the H4P Organization has been a beacon of hope and empowerment for persons with disabilities, bringing dignity and transformation to their lives through a range of impactful initiatives.
As part of their commitment to this cause and in remembrance of their beloved patron, Mrs. Christina Anansiwa Hackman, the H4P Organization, under the leadership of the Chief Executive Officer, Bishop Dr. Charles Cofie Hackman, conducted a free medical screening at the Tetteh-Ocloo State School for the Deaf.
Mrs. Christina Anansiwa Hackman, who is the mother of the CEO of the H4P Organization, played an unparalleled role as the greatest enthusiast, contributor and promoter of the H4P Organization’s Special Advocacy for Persons with Disabilities.
Her dedication and passion for the betterment of the disability community were nothing short of remarkable.

Throughout her life, Mrs. Christina Anansiwa Hackman translated her belief in the potential and rights of persons with disabilities into tangible actions. She left an indelible mark through her involvement in projects such as “The Helping Hand TV Show, The H4P National Disability Fun Games, The H4P Community Projects and The Ability Praise Concert”.
As the organisation commemorates the one-year anniversary of Mrs Hackman’s passing, it was fitting to honour her memory in a manner that reflects her lifelong dedication to the disability community.
The free health screening at the Tetteh-Ocloo State School for the Deaf at Adjei-Kojo in the Tema West Municipality is a testament to her enduring legacy.
The H4P Organization in collaboration with Kingdom Legacy Institute, a subsidiary of Charles Hackman Ministries, Acts of Africa, Manna Mission Hospital, Fire City Chapel and DV Unlimited Company Limited undertook this exercise.

The pupils, teachers and caregivers of the school benefited from health screening activities ranging from general consultation to dental, ear, nose, and throat consultation, eye examination, and malaria testing, with the inclusion of various health metrics like temperature, weight, height, and blood pressure checks.
Mr. Isaac Arthur, the Chief Servant of the Tetteh-Ocloo State School for the Deaf, highlighted the significance of the free health screening for special needs children, addressing dental and eye issues.
Mr Arthur appealed to the public to enrol their special needs children in formal education at an early age.
H4P is an NGO in Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations.

As part of its community project, and activities to contribute towards Ghana’s achievement of United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 3; “Good health and well-being”, and World Health Organization (WHO)’s Universal Health Coverage (UHC); “the idea that everyone, everywhere should have access to quality and affordable health care”, the H4P Organization conducts periodic free health screening exercises for pupils, staff and caregivers of special education schools and in communities.
Earlier this year, as part of the organisation's numerous projects for PWDs, the H4P Organization initiated and launched the Prestigious CHIL Awards.
Christina Hackman Impact Leadership Awards, named after the CEO’s late mother, is an award scheme instituted to honour and acknowledge people who contribute significantly towards the development of the disability community and also towards national development.
The maiden edition of the CHIL AWARDS was held in the month of February, this year, and the call for applications and nominations for the 2024 edition is open now.
In celebrating Mrs Hackman's legacy, people are reminded that the work of bringing dignity to disability and creating a more inclusive and compassionate world is continuing and the H4P Organization recommit themselves to the cause she held so dear.
