Asamoah Gyan has now scored four goals in six games since moving to the Chinese Super League.
His latest came on Sunday as his Shanghai SIPG beat Shanghai Greenland Shenhua 2-1 with the Ghana captain scoring after 65 minutes.
The goal was a leveler as former Everton midfielder Tim Cahill netted with a penalty. Seven minutes after Gyan's goal, his teammate Ke Shi got the winner.
Gyan's strike is his second this week after he scored against the same side in the Chinese Cup but his team lost on that occasion.
SIPG lead the Chinese Super League table with 52 points while Guanzhou Evergrande are a point behind.
